HISTORY
Established in
New Delhi in 1986 to service the Indian market for industrial labels and
tags, Syndicate quickly developed printing, converting and finishing skills
and soon began to manufacture more complex and niche products.
By the mid 1990’s, the company was exporting considerable volumes of diverse
range of products into South East Asia, UK and US. Expansion of the
manufacturing base was required to meet the needs of this growing business.
Exploring The UAE
Realizing that Delhi was not the ideal base from which to service worldwide
export opportunities, the decision was taken to set up a new manufacturing
facility, Syndicate UAE, located at Fujairah in the United Arab
Emirates. There were significant cost and logistical benefits associated
with this strategic move. Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2002 and
phase 2, a newly built manufacturing and warehouse facility, in early 2007.
UK Operations
The Syndicate Printers Group decided to set up its UK stock and sale
operations in 1997 under Syndicate UK Ltd., to meet the increasing demand of
its products in the region. The UK business rapidly grew in turnover both
organically and inorganically. In the year 2004, the Group acquired Premier
Ticket Co. Ltd., a leading distributor of redemption and roll tickets in UK
and in the year 2005 J. Lloyd Roberts and Co., a leading distributor of
Bingo tickets and allied products. Both these business have since been
successfully integrated and merged into Syndicate UK.
Representative office in Singapore
In the year 2003, Syndicate set up its representative office in Singapore to
cater to entire South East Asia market to sell products like redemption
tickets and wristbands.
